Formatting toolbar
The Formatting toolbar is in the lower row of the toolbar and applies Markdown formatting to the selected text or to the paragraph containing the cursor. It is available only in writing view.

Selection toolbar
When you select text, a floating Selection toolbar with text style buttons can appear near the selection. Selection toolbar in Settings can be set to Immersive mode only, Always or Never. The default is Immersive mode only.
Notes
- In source view, the formatting toolbar buttons are unavailable.
- Changing the list type changes only the list level containing the cursor; indentation levels stay the same.
- Formatting changes can be undone with
