Download and installation

Last updated Screenshots show Folora 0.2.0.

Folora is currently available for macOS. It supports Macs with Apple silicon and requires macOS 11 or later. A Windows version is not yet available.

Installation steps

  1. Download Folora_<version>_aarch64.dmg from the folora.ai download page.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg file. In the window that appears, drag Folora to Applications.
  3. Open Folora from the Applications folder.

Folora is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. The first time you open it, no extra settings or workarounds are needed.

Notes

  • This version does not run on Macs with Intel processors. In About This Mac, if the name in the Chip row begins with Apple M, the Mac has Apple silicon.
  • After installation, new versions are installed by the in-app automatic update. See Automatic updates.
